I have been blessed to have had many mentors and guides in the work of spiritual care. Rabbis Natan Fenner, Jon Sommer and Elliot Kukla mentored me when I was a hospice volunteer at the Bay Area Jewish Healing Center. Allison Kestenbaum and Rev. Peter Yuichi Clark z’l initiated me into the work of chaplaincy at UCSF. Rev. Linda Siddall z’l taught me about trust in my first years at Mission Hospice. I studied with Naomi Seidman and Deena Aranoff at the Graduate Theological Union. Rabbis Myriam Klotz, Elisa Goldberg and Nicole Auerbach are guiding me in the practice and art of spiritual direction.
